A pointer reverses direction

8 written marks

Part a · 3 marks

For the first stage, find the total swept angle in radians, the number of complete revolutions and the final direction in \([0,2\pi)\).

Part b · 2 marks

Find the exact distance travelled by the tip during the first stage.

Part c · 3 marks
