Triangles ABC and DEF are similar in that order. \(\displaystyle AB=2 \mathrm{cm}, DE=9 \mathrm{cm}, BC=9 \mathrm{cm}\) and EF corresponds to BC. The perimeter of ABC is 21 cm. In a separate similar pair with the same scale factor, corresponding sides are x cm in the smaller triangle and 45 cm in the larger triangle.

  1. Find the length scale factor from ABC to DEF. Explain your reasoning. [2]
  2. Find EF in cm. Explain your reasoning. [2]
  3. Find the perimeter of DEF in cm. Explain your reasoning. [2]
